Race, challenge and adrenaline with PC Game Pass and Forza Horizon 5

In order to bring the product to new audiences, amplify the impact of Xbox PC Game Pass and promote the new Forza Horizon 5 among the gaming community, Asesores organised a competitive event during Gamergy 2021, one of the biggest sports and video game events in Spain.

The event kicked off with two of the world’s leading content creators specialising in motor gaming, Flowstreet and Polman, showing off their skills behind the wheel of Forza Horizon 5 and setting the time to beat for the rest of the event.

To engage the public, Asesores launched the challenge in the Forza Horizon 5 Event Lab for players to try to beat the times set by Flowstreet and Polman. Dozens of people came to the booth to try to beat the content creators’ record and win a 3-month PC Game Pass code.

Shortly after, it was time for the Grand Final and the stage was impressive: the top 5 players from the challenges qualified for the Grand Final, which was displayed on the giant screen above the Forza Horizon 5 Event Lab for everyone to follow the race up close.  The tense atmosphere was palpable and no wonder. In addition to the PC Game Pass code, reaching the grand final meant winning an Xbox Wireless Controller 20th Anniversary Special Edition and an Xbox bottle. One last prize awaited the winner: a fantastic gaming laptop.

To bring the event closer to all the fans who were unable to attend, Asesores proposed that each content creator should carry out a Twitter raffle to win a Thrustmaster steering wheel and a 6-month PC Game Pass code. Both Flowstreet and Polman promoted the prize draw for a week on their different social channels, achieving great interaction with users and boosting the visibility of PC Game Pass by making its official hashtag – #PCGamePass – a Trending Topic in Spain.
